I went through a poor patch at the start of the month and reviewed some hands and thought about what I was doing. I would suggest anyone who is going through a poor run stop and look objectively at their HH (Hand History). I was tilting and felt the world was against me, true there were some suckouts, but I was not helping matters either. If it is going poorly, tighten up and play better.
During this little downturn I also played a couple of times with 2 tables open, TV on, checking emails...
I watched a couple of videos and read some old 2+2 Forum posts. This one CLICK HERE is very old, but goes through exactly what I am thinking. Another post is excellent, old also, but worth looking at CLICK HERE.
Some of the guys posting I respect and have gone on to improve their game and become long term winners. The advice is pretty much as I thought, grind out 2+ tables for cash if you are confident and your results are not effected too much, but single table to improve at the start and gain a higher ROI%.
Choice made then, I will keep to single tables and work on my game as I have been doing recently;
Morning - reading forum posts or books, watching video or reviewing hands from the previous evenings sessions.
Evening - Play at least 10 games. If I feel good and playing my A Game I will continue or break for a few minutes and play another session. If I am tired then I will just stop at 10.
