Not much difference between $1 and $3 HU SNGs

After the changes made in the PokerStars HU SNGs today I thought I would have a pop at some different buy ins to see what the quality of player is like.

I am pleased to report that it went better then expected, I played a couple of $1.50s winning 1. I then played a few $3 games 7 in total with 4 wins, probably about even in terms of EV so a true reflection of players.

I don't know what I thought, but was happy to see the players at the $3 level are no better or worse than at the $1 level so I have a choice to make. The idea of the blog was to start a record of my play using sound BR management. This means I am not allowed to play $3.50 games now until I have $70...

I have just been looking at the numbers again and guess what ???

PokerStars changed the $1.50 to a $1.40+$0.10 meaning it now takes 7.14% rake :)

Choice made then, stick to the plan shoot for the stars.
